I spent a week up in Grayling, Michigan with instructor Ron Barch and host Victor Edwards of Bamboo Bend, building a bamboo fly rod. With me on this creative adventure … David Klco, my father-in-law Raymond Lincolnhol, Tim Lincolnhol, Ann Lincolnhol, Ray Lincolnhol, Mike Lincolnhol, and Jimmy Edgett. Sue came up for the week too and helped by taking lots of photos of the process. Therese and Patsy stopped by for a day also. It was a fantastic week of joyful learning, lots of planing and a few cuts. We ended up with some great rods and fond memories.

Here are photos of the process throughout the week.
